FIELD: personal use and household items.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to domestic articles, particularly, to hangers, mainly for trousers. Hanger includes two plate grips for holding hanged articles, hook, two grip holders and a retainer for retaining the grips and the hanged article in a compressed state and for automatic opening of the grips at removal of the hanged article. Grip holders are made of wire spring in the form of an L-shaped element with two vertical branches, lower ends of which are fixed in different grips. Vertical branches of the holders, via bends, grade into horizontal branches having common bends at the ends, forming a hole for fixing the lower end of the hook. Retainer is made of wire spring in the form of two triangular elements at the ends, connected by common wire and encircling, in pairs, the vertical holder branches. Distance between vertices of the triangular elements of the retainer is less than the distance between the vertical holder branches, while free ends of the retainer are bent upward relative to horizontal branches of holders. Vertical branches of holders are installed with an inclination to inner working surfaces of the grips towards the middle of the hanger so, that, at an intermediate in the grips height position of the retainer, ensuring contact of the grips with each other by lower edges of internal working surfaces, between the working surfaces of the grips there is an angle of at least 2-3 degrees, and at the lower position of the retainer the working surfaces of the grips are parallelly compressed. At the ends of working surfaces of the grips there are chamfers along their whole height, which are extended towards the centre of the hanger.

EFFECT: reliable fastening of hanged articles and decrease in effort for their fastening.
