SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied to electrical engineering. Method comprises electric power control, realised in power service equipment based on market data, wherein market data are data which can be correlated with changes in future or with expected power services for electric network. Control device comprises model processor for simulation of execution of a plurality of control models as a result of simulation and to determine a value associated with each simulation result during a first period. Control models are configured control operation of power service equipment, wherein each control model is based on a set of variable market data, wherein said value includes one of following values: profit level; monetary value; or common attribute value. Device also includes a model selector for selection of control model associated with greatest value from values determined for each control model; and a processor for controlling operation of power service equipment in a second period, which follows first period, using selected control model associated with greatest value.
EFFECT: technical result is providing flexible control for better adaptation to varying properties of electric energy sources.
