SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship power supply system. Invention covers operation of ship power supply system Proposed method comprises producing computer-base simulation model of the ship optimised in terms of efficiency of fuel consumption. To this end, equations are selected from the set of equations describing ship main components and design characteristics and data from the set of the set of characteristic data of the ship main components and design are selected. Proposed system comprises processor, data storage incorporating simulation model, set of transducer to control ship parametres.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of design procedure.
