SUBSTANCE: system for detecting moisture, intended for use together with an absorbent article, comprises a holding device, designed for attachment of a consumer to outer surface of absorbent article, wherein holding device comprises a first connection lug having a side facing article, comprising a first fastening element secured on it, and a sensor strip, having a sensor and having a side facing article, comprising a second fastening element secured on it; wherein second fastening element has a surface area and is proportionate to ratio of area to weight of system; and wherein bending stiffness of sensor strip is less than 30 gf cm2/cm.
EFFECT: system also comprises a signalling device, connected with holding device and electrically connected with sensor, wherein system is designed to detect moisture inside article without use of conductors inside absorbent article.
