FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical instrument-making and can be used for centering lens in holders at their assembling for cases when the lens are based in holders along flat bevels. Holder is equipped with an intermediate part, in which the lens is installed with a radial clearance with its flat bevel onto a spherical support flange of the intermediate part able to be radially shifted relative to the main holder to align the first center of curvature of the working surface of the lens with the reference axis of the holder at its rotation, after that the intermediate part of the holder is fixed relative to the main one. Second center of curvature of the lens is aligned with the reference axis of the holder at the lens inclination around the center of curvature of the spherical surface of the flange located in the same plane with the center of curvature of the first surface of the lens, then the position of the lens is fixed in the intermediate part of the holder. Intermediate part of the holder is shifted radially relative to the main one in the seat clearance, that is provided by coupling the flange of the intermediate part of the holder with the support flange of the main holder along the flat surfaces.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of centering.
