SUBSTANCE: invention provides single-component aqueous compositions containing (I) a cationic polymer preventing staining and selected from (a) particles of anion-exchange polymer resin of gel or double morphology, the content of which ranges from 0.01 to 7 wt%, weighted average particle size of which ranges from 0.1 to 20 µm, the content of copolymerized cross-linking agent in it is low and ranges from 0.5 to 2.0 wt%; (b) from 1 to 30 wt% of a cross-linked cationic polymer containing an additional copolymerized residue of a monomer selected from a cationic monomer or a monomer modified so that it contains cation, (c) and mixtures thereof, (II) one or more emulsion copolymers containing a copolymerized residue of at least one monomer based on phosphoric acid, and (III) a stabilizer containing from 0.1 to 2 wt% per total weight of solid substances in the emulsion copolymer of inorganic phosphorus-containing dispersant and from 0.2 to 5.0 wt% per total weight of solid substances in the emulsion copolymer of a mixture of nonionic surfactant and anionic surfactant.

EFFECT: compositions provide stabilized binders for a single-layer coating having the properties of a primer and a top layer of coatings and paints.
