SUBSTANCE: invention relates to single-component aqueous composition which prevents staining of primer and properties of upper coating layer, containing (I) for absorption of contaminating materials from 0.01 to 7 wt% in terms of total weight of solid substances in composition of particles of anion-exchange resin, weighted average size of which ranges from 0.1 to 20 mcm, content of copolymerised cross-linking agent in it ranges from 0.5 to 2.0 wt% in terms of total weight of monomers used for production of anion-exchange copolymer resin, wherein particles of anion-exchange copolymer resin are selected from a gel-like particles, particles with double morphology, as well as mixtures thereof, (II) one or more emulsion of copolymers containing copolymerised residue of one or more monomers based on phosphoric acid, and also containing an anionic surfactant or a polymerised residue, and for improving resistance to mechanical effects reducing agent or its polymerised residue, and (III) to improve characteristics of coating and stability of at least one phosphorus-containing surfactant in amount from 0.1 to 5 wt% in terms of total weight of solid substances in emulsion copolymer. Also disclosed is a coating composition containing an aqueous composition, a method of applying a coating composition and a method of producing aqueous composition.

EFFECT: technical result consists in preparing an aqueous composition for use in single-layer coating, having properties of primer and top layer, having exceptional resistance to stains.
