FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to surgical instruments, and, in particular, to surgical incision instruments and surgical staplers and fastener cartridges used therewith that are designed to incise and staple tissue. Fastener cartridge for use with a surgical stapler comprises a cartridge body and a number of fasteners. Cartridge body contains a support portion, multiple cavities for fasteners, multiple guide clamps and an implanted compressed part. Multiple cavities for fasteners are formed in the support portion, wherein each cavity contains an opening formed in the support portion. Multiple guide clamps protrude from the support portion; besides each clamp comprises at least one guide groove. Implanted compressed part adjoins the support portion, wherein the guide clamps are at least partially built into the compressed part. At least a part of each fastener is arranged with a possibility of release from inside the cavity for fasteners. Each fastener can move between the non-activated position and activated position, wherein each fasteners can be deformed between not-activated position and activated position, when each fasteners moves between non-activated position and activated position. Each fastener has at least one deformable leg, which can be removed from the guide groove, when the fastener is in the non-activated position, wherein the compressible section is configured to be captured inside fasteners and to become various height when compressed inside various fasteners, when fasteners are deformed from non-activated position and activated position. Second version of invention includes a fastener cartridge for use with a surgical stapler that comprises the named body of the cartridge, above set of fasteners and multiple separate retaining elements arranged adjacent to the openings of fastener cavities, wherein separate retaining elements are configured to remove the said compressible section from the support portion. Third version of the fastener cartridge for use with surgical stapler comprises a body of the cartridge, above set of fasteners, said multitude of retaining elements and multiple staple removers. Cartridge body comprises a proximal end, distal end, support portion, multiple cavities for fasteners and implanted compressed part adjoining the above support portion. Multiple cavities for fasteners are formed inside the support portion, wherein the cavity for fasteners are arranged along the direction of fastener deployment between the proximal and distal ends, wherein each cavity for fasteners has a hole in the support portion. Fastener removers are configured to move fasteners between non-activated position and activated position, wherein fastener removers are configured to sequentially activate along the direction of fastener deployment and to contact with compressed section in order to gradually disconnect the compressible section from the support portion.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides required holding pressure inside the tissue captured by fasteners.
