FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to magnetic brakes and can be used, in particular, in human machine interface for creation of object displacement resistance force, such as control device for handling. Magnetic hysteresis brake comprises stator with at least one control coil, and rotor installed with possibility of rotation and facing stator poles. Brake comprises at least one magnet, mounted on stator and facing rotor, having sufficient power to locally create induction level along rotor circumference, substantially, equal to maximum level of induction, created by coil, when this coil is supplied with power. Magnet is made in form of two magnets, each of which is installed on one and side surfaces of grooves.

EFFECT: technical result consists in residual field aligning in rotor.
