According to the invention the neck of the dowel has a slot passing outside into the spacer channel that extends from the expansion section to the rear end of the dowel and is open in the direction of the rear end of the dowel. Also, the invention also relates to a pressure die casting machine to produce dowels for expansion wall plugs according to the invention.
