FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tooling and aims at expanding mandrel for release of plastic dowels, including element-rod and element-tip, which consists of other material than element-rod, and on its rear end has an elongated anchor part fitted in element rod. Section of elongated anchor part along elongated anchor part decreases in direction of back end of element-tip, so that element-tip thins in direction of its rear end and anchor part has surface profile for transfer of force.
EFFECT: higher bearing capacity and reliability.
