FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry. Group of inventions is described, involving chromatographic method for isolation of protein components from protein-containing solution, wherein said solution contains insulin peptide and zinc ions, above insulin peptide is capable of self-assembling in presence of zinc ions (versions). In one version, method involves following steps: a) application of protein-containing solution on column with solid-phase chromatographic material, where insulin peptide load is in range of 8-30 g per litre of volume of column (g/lCV); and b) elution of insulin peptide from said solid-phase material with help of eluent with pH maximum 7.0; and collecting pool of insulin peptide, corresponding to at least 75 wt% of insulin peptide, applied on column at step (a).
EFFECT: invention extends range of chromatographic methods of isolation of protein components.
