SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to absorbent product (1), such as hygienic pad or pad, used in case of incontinence, having longitudinal side edges and transverse end edges and containing fluid-permeable upper sheet (8), not permeable for fluid media back sheet (9) and absorbent core (10) located between upper sheet (8) and back sheet (9). Absorbent core (10) comprises first absorbing layer (11), having hole (12) passing through it, and structural element (13) for fluid medium flow control, arranged between said first absorbing layer (11) and said back sheet (9). First absorbing layer (11) has front part (6) defined in longitudinal direction and defined in longitudinal direction rear part (7) and narrow transverse transition zone (14) located between above front part (6) and rear part (7). Narrow transverse transition zone (14) width is 50-75 % of first absorbing layer (11) front part (6) maximum width defined in transverse direction, and 20-50 % of hole (12) located in first absorbing layer (11) front part (6) length defined in longitudinal direction.
