SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of sharing and using location information in a portable terminal. Method includes the stages of: displaying a list comprising multiple applications, which use location information, from multiple applications saved in the first portable terminal; receiving for each of the multiple applications a corresponding setting parameter indicating if sharing the location information is activated; saving each of the settings parameters in the setting data corresponding to each of the multiple applications; transmitting identification information corresponding to each of the multiple applications and the setting data to a server; executing an application, for which sharing the location information is activated; transmitting to the server the identification information of the executed application and a request for sharing the location information relative to the executed application; receiving from the server the location information of the second portable terminal, in which sharing the location information is activated for the executed application; and processing the received location information of the second portable terminal by means of the executed application.
EFFECT: technical result is providing sharing location information of a portable terminal and using the shared location information.
