FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to endocrinology and reflex therapy, and can be used for body weight correction in treating obesity. Method involves electropuncture in biologically active points E 36, E 44, MC 7, RP 6 and E 39, F 3, RP 10, MC 6, C 5 with electric current frequency of 1 Hz for 1.5-2 minutes per each point. Installation of microneedles is also performed into auricular points: shen-men (55), stomach (87), liver (97), hunger center (18) and into “adenohypophysis and adrenal cortex” point (13). Additionally used is homeopathic medicine "Hepar compositum". During one 21 day therapeutic course 10 sessions of electropuncture are performed in corporeal points on both sides at every second day, wherein during first three electropuncture sessions exposure is performed by six points: E 36, E 39, E 44, F 3, RP 6, C 5, during next four sessions - additionally by RP 10, MC 6, MC 7 points, i.e. using all nine acupuncture points. Last three sessions are carried out similar to first three ones. Microneedles into auricular points are installed on both sides through 8-10 minutes after completion of first electropuncture session, leaving them for 21 days. Intramuscular administration of "Hepar compositum" homeopathic preparation is carried out from second day of treatment for 10 days on every second day by 2.2 ml of preparation 1 time a day. 2-3 therapeutic courses are performed with 30 days intervals between them. Method provides extra weight loss during treatment from 10 to 16 kg, high reliability and efficiency of treatment in 80-90 % cases, without receiving of drugs. Method does not cause allergic reactions, intoxication of organism, accessible for in out-patient conditions.

EFFECT: body overweight correction in treating obesity.
