SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weapons, namely, to the gun drop-down barrel unit locking assemblies. Locking assembly contains a key, a locking frame. Locking frame consists of side posts and a bottom bonding tab. Rear frame can move in opposite guide slots made in the side walls of the breech frame and through a lower shaped cutout made in the lower part of the breech frame. On the rear barrel coupling there are side - the left and the right ones - and at least one lower ledges-"tusks". Locking frame is designed for interaction at locking with both support surfaces of the guide slots and the lower shaped cutout of the breech frame, and the locked surfaces of the side and at least one lower ledges-"tusks" of the rear barrel coupling and is kinematically connected with the key.

EFFECT: provided is uniform locking and technically long service life.
