FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed invention relates to vehicle control equipment. Disclosed is vehicle on road position determining system. System comprises eight magnetic sensors, arranged on vehicle. Sensors are connected to automobile position determining unit via comparators. During vehicle moving along traffic lane magnetic sensors generate signal on presence and value of magnetic field from road marking. Road marking, in its turn, contains substances with magnetic properties and residual magnetization.
EFFECT: enabling higher accuracy of vehicle on road position determining, possibility to determine car rear part position of, as well as distinguish road marking signs.
