METHOD OF DEVELOPING OIL DEPOSIT BY HORIZONTAL WELLS Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC E21B43/16 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used in development, using horizontal wells, heterogenous terrigenous or carbonate oil deposits. Method involves drilling horizontal wells. Horizontal boreholes are arranged at an angle of 0-30° to each other in horizontal plane at a distance of 50-500 m. Production and injection wells are alternated. According to drilling a map of distribution of permeability of reservoir in area of drainage of horizontal wells is constructed. Zones differing from each other by more than 1.5 times on permeability are selected on maps. At points of intersection of horizontal bores of transition from one zone to another packers are installed. This divides horizontal boreholes into sections. Length of each section is selected not less than 10 m. Development is started by lowering pumps in horizontal boreholes of producing and injection wells in most permeable sections. After development of reservoir opposite one of sections in one of producing wells a pump of said well is moved and installed in horizontal borehole in a section next on decrease of permeability. When moving all pumps of production wells at next section on permeability pump is also moved in injection wells at following sections on reduction of permeability. In each well in operation of one of sections in horizontal shaft, other sections of same horizontal shaft is switched off by said packers. Procedure of moving pumps into less permeable sections is repeated, by successive development of entire deposit from higher permeability to lower permeability.

EFFECT: increasing oil recovery of inhomogeneous oil deposits.
