FIELD: personal usage items.
SUBSTANCE: absorbent product has longitudinal direction, transversal direction and depth direction and comprises lower covering layer and at least one core absorbent layer, arranged above lower cover layer in depth direction. Absorbent product comprises at least one additional layer, not integral with absorbent layer and located above it. Additional layer includes at least first and second separate sections located along longitudinal direction. At least first and second separate sections are spatially spaced in lengthwise direction. Sections are made from one source sheet material, wherein first section at least partially determines inside opening with inner edge. Second section geometric shape is joined to fit at least partially inside opening along its peripheral edge. Second section geometric shape is complementary to opening geometric shape. First and second sections edges are complementary, wherein first section inner edge is complimentary to second section peripheral edge.
EFFECT: disclosed is absorbent product.
