FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mounting a housing and concerns mounting a radio receiver in a vehicle dashboard compartment. In a vehicle dashboard compartment there is an opening to introduce a housing. Herewith the housing has a spike on each side entering parallel lateral links forming a track. Track has an inlet zone and a bottom zone of less than high than the inlet zone. Each spike comprises an elastically compressed part intended to push the spike in the vertical direction in the link when the spike is in the bottom zone. Around the opening there is a frontal frame. Herewith the lateral links comprise two parts separated in the longitudinal direction into: the first part stationary connected with the frame and the second part not connected with the frame and fixed on the dashboard compartment wall in order to be located in the longitudinal extension of the first part.
EFFECT: provided is ease of manufacture and installation.
