FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression. Silencer incorporates a housing, a nozzle and a receiving chamber, the nozzle is made conical with cut diameter D and is rigidly connected by means of an acoustically transparent stiff element with the housing to form gap Z, herewith the housing from inside is lined with a sound absorbing material coated with an acoustically transparent film. Housing is made from structural materials with applied onto its surfaces on one or two sides a layer of a soft vibration dampening material, for example, mastic VD-17, or material of “Gerlen-D” type. Noise-attenuating material is made from “Rockwool” mineral wool on basalt base, or “URSA” mineral wool, or P-75 type basalt wool, or from a glass wool with a glass felt, or from a foamed polymer, for example, polyethylene or polypropylene, herewith the sound absorbing element over its entire surface is lined with an acoustically transparent material, for example, EZ-100 type glass fabric or “Poviden” polymer.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise silencing.
