FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of removing water from process circuit in chemical industry. Method includes neutralising starting solutions, rectification of stretch bath solution in two columns, vacuum evaporation of mixture of still residue of second column and settling bath, rectification of still residue of vacuum evaporation apparatus, vacuum rectification of evaporated product of vacuum evaporation apparatus and third column, rectification of organic fraction and rectification of water fraction to produce target product. Multicomponent initial mixture, containing from 0 to 60 % dimethylacetamide (DMAA), from 0 to 70 % isobutyl alcohol (IBA), as well as lithium chloride or calcium chloride, hydrogen chloride, water and impurities – balance up to 100 %, are first separated into lithium chloride- or calcium chloride-containing and free therefrom, method then include separating mixtures, not containing lithium chloride or calcium chloride, into DMAA-containing and DMAA-free, a liquid stream consisting of IBA and water and not containing DMAA, after cooling is divided into two phases – aqueous and organic, and aqueous phase is fed for heteroazeotropic rectification, where IBA is separated at atmospheric pressure and purified Lutter water is obtained.

EFFECT: proposed method enables to produce an end product with purity, which allows its removal from production cycle in industrial sewage, and without loss of reusable components.
