FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an image forming device, which controls the image forming range. Proposed device comprises: a display control unit to control a display unit for displaying part or the entire image displayed by means of the display unit in the first area on the display screen, herewith the said image indicates the range of image forming, within which the image forming device can form images by means of changing the range of image forming; a changes control unit for changing position or size of the image, which must be displayed in the first area, with the help of the display control unit on an image indicating the range, within which the image can be formed by the image forming device; and an output device to output a command for prescription for the image forming device to form an image from the range of image forming corresponding to the range, which is indicated by an image displayed in the second area, which is part of the first area.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling the user to determine a required range within the range, in which the image forming device can generate an image (for example, a required location on a panoramic image).
