FIELD: security systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for transmitting alarm signals on a central station, in particular to generation and transmission of a man-down alarm signal. For this purpose alarm system comprises a gas-sensitive element, a motion sensor, a control circuit for obtaining information from gas-sensitive element and a motion sensor and a central station, supporting two-way communication with control circuit. Central station receives from control circuit and compares an ambient condition alarm signal from gas-sensitive element and a man-down alarm signal from motion sensor signal. Central station then determines whether man-down alarm signal is a false alarm, and initiates one of following: an alarm signal which reflects an alarm ambient condition, an alarm signal which reflects an alarm ambient condition and a man-down alarm signal, an alarm signal which reflects a man-down alarm signal, or an alarm signal which reflects other alarm condition.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of determining probability of a man-down event, that reduces number of false alarm signals.
