SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for workpiece positioning. Head (2) for replacing tool is installed with possibility of rotation around axis (11) of rotation. At least two tool holders (3, 4, 17, 18) are made with possibility of installation in different positions. Rotating device (7) for installation of one of tools in working position is made in form of Maltese gear (8) consisting of sprocket (9) and drive wheel (10) with locking washer (22) and with gripping pinion (21). Locking washer (22) is made with round external perimeter and is directed towards gripping pinion (21) of groove (23). Beams (19) of sprockets on their outer perimeter (24) have recesses (25) in form of circular segments, made with possibility of engagement with external perimeter of locking washer (22) depending on angular position of sprocket (9) and drive wheel (10).
EFFECT: device provides accurate and reproducible positioning of workpieces of different design.
