FIELD: tires production industry.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with tires production industry and may be used in production of air tires billets by an assembly machine with a transmissive ring. The machine for assembly of tires contains a transmissive ring and two pressure blocks for manufacture of the tires billets. The pressure blocks located in a pressure device mounted with a capability of motion in a direction of a shaft of a barrel are combined and passed through a mechanical system of a forced control in respect with the transmissive ring. Each pressure block is supplied with a plenty of the pressure segments transposed in respect to the shaft of the barrel. The pressure segments are mechanically compulsory linked to each other. For a realization at least one of the positioning motions is used a servo-driver connected with the control system assigning dependent on an item profile of the motion. The mechanical system of the forced control contains several lead screws, ends of which has a counter threading, which are fixed along the axis in the transmissive ring. The invention offers a method of operation of the machine for assembly of tires with a transmissive ring and two pressure blocks. At positioning of the pressure blocks realize a mechanically forced motion of the pressure blocks. Each of the pressure blocks is supplied with the radially transposed pressure segments. Positioning of the pressure segments is exercised at least temporarily irrespective of positioning of the pressure blocks concerning to the transmissive ring. The positioning of the pressure segments is realized mechanically with the kinematic locking. The invention ensures a high quality of the billets of the tires and an easy serviceability of the machine.
