FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of measuring temperature fields on the surface of an investigated object using luminescent temperature converters. Method includes application onto the surface a coating luminescent when illuminated by exciting radiation, luminescence intensity of which depends on temperature. Coating composition includes a nitrolacquer or a polyurethane lacquer uniformly mixed at normal conditions with two luminophores – a sensitive to temperature rhodamine and an insensitive to temperature luminophore. When illuminated with exciting luminescence radiation the said luminophores luminesce in different spectral regions. Desired temperature distribution onto the surface of the object is obtained by computer processing of two images simultaneously registered in spectral intervals of the used luminophores. Calculated ratio of intensities does not depend on brightness of the exciting luminescence source, thickness of the coating lacquer, geometric characteristics of the investigated object.

EFFECT: invention provides higher reliability of the result of visual monitoring of temperature onto the object surface, as well as the possibility of simultaneous control of temperature in the continuous mode on the entire surface or on a specific area of the object surface selectively.
