FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is intended for sheep breeding and industrial animal breeding. Animals are weighed in groups in cage of device for control of live weight and number of animals. Passage doors and animal cages are opened for coming of animals for preset time. Passage is equipped with side guards and revolving flap for passage of animals by one. Electronic magnetic card in form of bracelet is fixed to leg of each animal. When animal approaches cage entrance, the card affects sensor. After preset time interval entrance door is closed and after time for filtration of dynamic noise animals are weighed. Number, total weight and average body weight are registered. Cage door is left open till its complete release. Signal level lower than minimum possible level of animal body weight is counted as release signal. On signal exit door is closed and passage entrance door is opened to receive following group. Device also includes converter, unit for mass measurement and initial start-up button, presence sensor, counter, actuating units, control units, timers and memory register.

EFFECT: higher level of automation is provided.
