FIELD: electricity; machine building; instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises micro-arc oxidation products of valve metal and alloy in pulse anodic-cathodic mode in aqueous solution of electrolyte containing, g/l: natrium dihydrogen phosphate 10–30, natrium silicate 1–10, potassium cyanide 5–15, natrium molybdate 1–10. Ceramic coating optically black colour applied on the product and its alloy using the method described above, in the form of iron-containing layer with thickness of 5–60 mcm, additionally contains Si in amount of 0.2–13.0 wt% and Mo 0.1–7.0 wt%.

EFFECT: higher wear resistance, corrosion resistance, degree of absorption, heat resistance and adhesion of the black coating.
