FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cigarette packs, in particular rectangular packages of all types, primarily flip-top boxes. Cigarette package made in form of a flip-top box made of thin cardboard or similar packing material and having box-like part (10), coupled with flip top (11) and collar (12) arranged in box part, wherein walls of box part (10) and/or top (11) have protrusions and recesses formed by cutting, characterised by that, workpiece common for box part (10) and top (11) has holes (31), formed by cutting in region of selected longitudinal fold lines (13) and/or transverse lines (14) so that in vertical or transversely directed ribs of package, made in region of fold lines (13, 14) by rectangular folding, corresponding to shape of holes (31) are formed corrugated recesses, in folding overlaps (18, 19, 27, 28) of workpiece, adjacent to each other to form a two-layered side walls, specifically side walls (21) of box part and/or side walls (30) of top of package there are edge recesses, specifically edge recess (32), coinciding with holes in region of corresponding to folding ribs.

EFFECT: due to application of structures on rib of package and/or selected surfaces of package, for folding package in region of front wall of box and/or front wall of top, manipulation package of package is also easier, specifically opening and closing top.
