FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fish farming and can be used for directing movement of fish mainly to guard the fish aggregating areas or fish paths against fish getting into water inlets. Complex fish protecting device consists of floating or stationary fish-discharge fence or floating or stationary intake wall. Fish-discharge fence or intake wall can have blind vertical and horizontal walls or vertical watertight and horizontal walls consisting of separate plates. Device also includes air and/or water supply pipeline for creation of air-bubble, or air-water, or jet curtain, which performs attracting, holding, partial discharge and direction of young fishes and garbage into zone of action of fish-discharge fence / intake wall and then into safe zone of water source. Air and/or water supply pipeline is placed in flow horizon, where fish fry dwells, at distance h from water level in water source, selected depending on depth H of water source in place of installation of device, hydraulic and ichthyological characteristics of source, h < H.

EFFECT: invention provides high efficiency of operation, reduced probability of fish coming in water intake and reduced operating costs for maintenance of required curtain flame.
