FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly fish-protective devices to be installed at water inlet structures.
SUBSTANCE: fish-protective device comprises water-intake supply channel having perforated pipe laid on channel bottom and connected to compressed air source, fish-arresting screen, fish-diverting means and bottom baffle. Bottom baffle has upper ridge with perforated pipe extending across water-intake supply channel. Fish-arresting screen includes two curvilinear walls symmetric about dynamic flow axis. At inlet section the walls are joined to water-intake supply channel walls. At outlet section the walls are communicated with rectangular gutter connected to fish-diverting means head provided with ejection feeding unit. Curvilinear walls are formed in compliance with design equation.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
