FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, specifically to production of structural corrosion-resistant and cold-resistant austenitic high-strength steel used in machine building, in particular, for producing high-strength structures operating under conditions of low climatic temperatures, including in sea water in climatic conditions of Arctic and Antarctic. Steel contains, in wt%: carbon 0.06–0.07, chromium 20–22, nickel 9–12, manganese 5–7, molybdenum 1–2, nitrogen 0.3–0.4, silicon not more than 1, sulphur not more than 0.005, phosphorus not more than 0.009, calcium 0.001–0.01, selenium 0.005–0.01, iron and unavoidable impurities – balance.
EFFECT: steel has required set of properties in conditions of low climatic temperatures.
