SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to cosmetic industry, specifically to use of glycosaminoglycan esters, in which alcohol groups are partially esterified with lipoic acid or lipoic acid and formic acid and degree of esterification of lipoic acid in polymer hydroxyls varies from 0.01 to 1*N, wherein N is number of free alcohol groups present in a repeating unit, while degree of esterification of formic acid in polymer hydroxyls varies from 0 to 0.20, for hair care treatment, as well as a composition and a cosmetic method for hair care and to a method for treatment of androgenic alopecia and telogen effluvium.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides more effective protective properties and more efficient slow down of hair loss and hair restoration.
