FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromagnetic signals sources location determination radio equipment. Broadband SHF and VHF signals detector includes signal processing controller, containing SHF unit, including series-connected antenna, logarithmic detector and amplifier; VHF unit, including series-connected antenna, detector and amplifier; control unit comprising ADC units, programmed filtration, decision making, data transmission and non-volatile memory; supply voltage module containing charge controller, voltage converter and voltage dividing unit; secondary detectors module, containing sensitive element, contact sensor, accelerometer and optical opening sensor; light and sound indication; Bluetooth module; RS-485 module and USB module; wherein these modules are connected with data acquisition and processing system; and supply voltage module is connected with battery and external voltage source. Described is wideband SHF and VHF signals detector operation method.
EFFECT: technical result is increasing of radio device activity detection probability, operating at frequencies of standard GSM, 2G, 3G, CDMA, CDMA-450, Wi-Fi; reduction of false triggering probability, higher sensitivity, as well as increased anti-vandal protection and ease of use due to automatic adjustment of detector.
