SUBSTANCE: invention relates to small arms. Semi-automatic carbine comprises a breech frame, a barrel installed with one end on the breech frame, a bolt equipped with a cocking handle and installed with the possibility of sliding inside the breech frame, at least one return spring to return the bolt to its closed position. Return spring is a tension spring called a spring of constant force located between the bolt and a holder fixed relative to the breech frame and the barrel.
EFFECT: provided is simplified reloading of the semi-automatic carbine.
