FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of extracting metals from lateritic ores. Method involves laterite ore sulphation for production of iron (III) sulphate in sulphated weight and selective pyrolysis of iron (III) sulphate for decomposition of iron (III) sulphate to sulphur trioxide and hematite. Then performing dissolution to obtain iron (III) oxide and solution containing target extracted metals.
EFFECT: technical result is decrease of acid total consumption and extraction of iron.
