FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ferrous metallurgy field, namely compositions of alloys based on iron, which can be used in engineering. Iron-based alloy contains, wt %: carbon 3.15-3.25; silicon 0.15-0.25; manganese 0.15-0.25; molybdenum 12.0-13.0; nickel 12.0-13.0; the rest is iron.
EFFECT: low-component alloy based on iron shows enhanced strength and processability.
