AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR COMPARTMENT FOLD DRIVE MECHANISM Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC B64C25/00 B64C25/16

Abstract RU 2609554 C1

FIELD: transportation; aviation.

SUBSTANCE: compartment fold drive mechanism comprises a drive and a traction, one end of which is hingedly connected to a fold. At the same time the first part of the mechanism is made in the form of two worms with crossing mutually perpendicular axes and the worm wheel, which is rigidly fixed on the axis of the first worm placed on the platform and interacting with the geared sector installed as capable of rotation on the axis, and coupled with the second worm connected to the first drive. The second worm is installed coaxially with the axis of platform rotation and with the possibility of rotation in it. Besides, the second end of the traction is hingedly fixed on the geared sector. The other part of the mechanism is made in the form of a third worm connected to the second drive and coupled with the worm sector fixed on the platform.

EFFECT: simplified design, increased reliability and improved operating characteristics.
