FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: for mirror rotation relatively to the horizontal axis by means of the motor a worm 17 is rotated, it by means of the worm wheel 16 and Hindley worm 14 rotates the gear sector 11 together with the mirror holder 12 around the axis 10. The mirror rotation around the vertical axis is performed by worm 20 rotation, it rotates the gear sector 19 together with platform 1 around the bushing. The mirror setting is memorised using the electronic devices as per number of turns of the worms. The mirror folding to nonworking position is ensured by worm 6 rotation that by means of the gear wheel 5 rotates the base 3 of the mirror casing to limit position. When the external force acts on the mirror casing the base 3 of the casing rotates on the axis in the support. The gear wheel 5 acting on teeth of the worm 6 forces it to move over splines along the axis 8 compressing the resilient element 9. As result the impact energy is dampened, and possible damages of the mirror are minimised.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased its reliability, and improved operation characteristics.
