SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of interactive communication services, and specifically to transmission of additional signals through an additional communication channel. Method comprises executing an interactive service between an electronic device and an external device, obtaining by electronic device first information, that is stored in an object, peripheral to electronic device, and generating second information which must be provided to external device based on obtained first information. Method then includes causing second be provided to external device, comprising use of electronic device for transmitting second information to external device by means of interactive service and converting data format of second information on basis of linking transmission method, which is linked to interactive service so that second information is transmitted using interactive service. Linking transmission method is determined based on type of first information and interactive service.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling transfer and sharing of information obtained from a peripheral object, by devices, between which an interactive service is executed.
