FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in systems for controlling rotation frequency built on the principle of phase synchronization, in particular, in electric drives with a wide range of rotation frequency variation, wherein the feedback sensor used is a synchrodrive, a sine-cosine rotating transformer or a linear rotor position sensor. In the method of controlling an electric motor RPM summed are frequencies of sawtooth wave signals of setting by angle, the feedback signal with the sawtooth wave signal of higher reference frequency. Effect of the frequencies summation is achieved due to summation of instantaneous values of sawtooth wave signals, dropping an integer result of the summation and extraction of the fractional part.
EFFECT: provided is a wide range of control and smooth rotation of the electric motor shaft in the area of low and infralow frequencies and simplified structure of the electric drive at simultaneous increase of accuracy and reducing the components consumption for making the device.
