FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the wood-processing industry, in particular to sawmill equipment. The saw mill comprises a base, a saw frame (14) and a mechanism for moving the saw frame. The saw frame is mounted in the guides (15). The mechanism for moving the saw frame is made in the form of a platform (1), two worm screws with mutually crossing perpendicular axes and the worm wheel (9). The platform is mounted on the base with the ability of rocking on the axis and is connected to the first actuator. The worm wheel is rigidly fixed to the axis of the first worm screw (7) and is connected to the second worm screw (10). The first worm screw is placed on the platform and interacts with a toothed element (5). The toothed element is connected to the saw frame. The second worm screw is connected to the second actuator. The axis of the second worm screw is aligned with the rocking axis of the platform.

EFFECT: due to the invention the noise during the operation of the saw mill is reduced.
