FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: head for abrasive blasting of surfaces contains a head moving mechanism, an abrasive feed device, an abrasive hopper and a nozzle connected to a source of compressed air and connected by a pipeline to the hopper. The mechanism for moving the head contains two worms with crossed mutually perpendicular axes and a worm wheel. The worm wheel is rigidly fixed on the axis of the first worm placed on the platform and interacting with the gear sector. The gear sector is rigidly connected to the nozzle. The worm wheel is interfaced with a second worm, the axis of which is aligned with the vertical axis of rotation of the platform. The second worm is made with a through axial hole into which the pipeline is passed.
EFFECT: simplified construction.
