SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the petroleum industry and may be used during recovery of a high-viscosity oil field. The method of recovery of the high-viscosity oil field contains the arrangement of horizontal shafts of recovery and discharge wells simultaneously and successively, the pumping of steam via the top discharge wells and product extraction via the bottom recovery wells. Whereupon, the areas with the same thicknesses are allocated for the oil field. The line of the same thickness is draw on the oil field diagram; the pair of wells of the horizontal top discharge one and the bottom production one are drawn with the curved lines according to the lines of the same thickness and allocated successively in the oil fields with the same thickness. In the crestal part of the oil field, the pair of wells of the horizontal wells is performed with the straight lines with the direction along the direction of the long axis of the oil field.

EFFECT: increasing of field oil recovery.
