FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio communication and can be used in radio receivers of the very long waves (VLW) range. Input device of a single-channel multiband radio receiver includes series-connected: an antenna input, a low-pass filter, an input switching device, a frequency-selective system containing M channels, an output switching device, a radio frequency amplifier, a controlled attenuator and an analogue-to-digital converter, herewith the attenuator input is connected to the output of the radio frequency amplifier, and the output is connected to the input of the analogue-to-digital converter, the output of which is connected to the input device output, and the control output is connected to the attenuator control input. In the frequency-selective device each channel comprises a common bus and series-connected: an input potential terminal, a subband band-pass filter, the second controlled attenuator, the second radio frequency amplifier, a tunable band-pass filter and an output potential terminal. Subband and the tunable band-pass filters are made using a generalized converter of resistances, herewith the tunable band-pass filter is configured as a band-pass filter of the fourth class by extinction.
EFFECT: higher selectivity of the radio channel.
