FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and represents composition for use as medicinal agent for external treatment of wounds. Composition contains 0.1–2 % wt/wt of sodium hyaluronate and 1–3 % wt/wt of silver. Sodium hyaluronate has weight-average molecular weight of 130–230 kDa. Silver is in micronized metal form with porous, "sponge-like" structure with average particle size of 2–18 mcm and surface of no less than 5 m2/g or in colloidal metal form. Invention also relates to pharmaceutical composition containing said composition and excipient.
EFFECT: antibacterial activity and efficiency in treatment of wounds, fibroblast protection from cytotoxic activity of silver.
