FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the small arms, namely, to overmuzzle devices. The overmuzzle device contains a housing, attachement unit to the firearm barrel, through bullet channel, cut-off chamber, the cover, including the front part of the cut-off chamber and the bullet hole. The housing of device is made, like a composite, from integrally connected between each other the cut-off chambers. Each chamber consists of two washers with radial curvature and different diameters of the bullet holes, connected between each other by a circular housing member. The fastening unit includes the bleeding holes and a convex edge, lying in the plane perpendicular to the central axes of the bleeding holes.

EFFECT: invention provides the reduce of recoil impulse, reduce of the propellant gas temperature, reduce of the sound of the shot, improvement of the barrel and overmuzzle device blow, increase of the structural strength.
