FIELD: physics, measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used to calibrate inclinometer systems with three-component ferroprobe and accelerometer sensors. The method comprises installing the magnetically sensitive unit of the magnetometer of an inclinometer system on a rotary table such that the longitudinal axis of one of the transducers is aligned with the vertical, and the longitudinal axes of the other two transducers lies in the horizontal plane, the unknown angles are calculated in the form of functions of the conversion results. The method also comprises determining deviation angles of the gravitationally sensitive axes of a three-component accelerometer transducer, which is part of the inclinometer system, from its natural geometrical axes of the orthogonal base. To this end, the method includes setting on the rotary table six spatial positions of the body of the downhole tool of the inclinometer system with three-component accelerometers and ferroprobe sensors, characterised by sight angle ϕ, inclination angle θ and azimuthal angle α=0°. The measured signals from the sensors are used to calculate six deviation angles of the magnetically sensitive axes of the ferroprobes of the three-component magnetometer and five deviation angles of the gravitationally sensitive axes of the three-component accelerometer transducer.
EFFECT: invention enables to reduce measurement error of inclinometer systems.
