FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method includes a pulldown into methane coal well at the flow column with two-packer arrangement of downhole equipment, including screw pump, the surface pressure and temperature readout unit, selection by means of packers one of the broached coal beds of the studied methane coal well, thereafter provide lowering of the liquid level with the pace of depression creation to the productive coal bed not more than 0.3 atm/day and carry out the flow tests. Wherein, the flow tests are carried out in the second methane coal well, located 30-100 m away from the first methane coal well, for that purpose on the flow column with two-packer arrangement the downhole equipment is lowered, at that selecting by the packers the same productive coal bed, after completed tests the screw pump is stopped at the second methane coal well and conduct the flow tests on the first methane coal well.

EFFECT: improved accuracy and quality of coal beds flow tests of methane coal wells.
